1st Place Art Contest! ^^

There are many things to talk about. Many drawings I'm working on you might all like too.
But for now I'll talk about how I won! ^^!!!!!

Last week was cultural week at my school, there were many events such as rallies, contests (art contest =^^= ), sports etc.. Initially I wanted to join both the Rally and the art contest, but due to time, I only joined the latter.

On the day of the event I was a bit nervous. Something I had never been when drawing, as I draw everywhere! In class, at home, in the bus, anywhere. It was free theme and medium, I drew "Rain" from living dead dolls. Since the participants were "representatives" of their classroom, there were many people cheering, sadly I was alone.. (my dearest :heart: lives in another city, so I only see him on weekends when he comes to visit)

Days after I asked a friend if she knew the results, and she told me I had won 3rd place. I was happy, my BF even more, as I had won 3rd out of the whole school that participated. ^///^
The following days were not as happy, as the stress from school, the idiots in my classroom, etc.. got to me.. and I needed a good rest on the weekend. Which I did get on sunday!! ^^!!

On Monday, I went to the school office to ask for my drawing, since they hadn't given any work back yet. When I asked what the 3rd place prize was, they told me I was wrong. I hadn't won 3rd, I actually got 1st!!! O_O!!! I called Jerry:heart: up as soon as I left the office to tell him, and to make my day a little happier, he got me a color pencil I needed and some materials he thinks would help with my shading. He was so happy, he told everyone he knows about this. ^^; Gracias mi amado principe...

I'll be posting my drawing soon, as soon as I get it, I shall scan and post. :D
